I haven't posted any drawings in a while, so here's one I've done today, I found this photo months ago and really liked it, I don't know who the photographer is. I drew the image in fine liner then scanned it into the computer and added colour using photoshop.

Spice Market ...

The smell as you walked into the shop was overwhelming, a mixture of strong spice fragrances. The colours were beautiful. My mum ended up going a bit crazy treating herself to tons of different spices for cooking. Lemon Salt, Meat spices, Chili powder and Sweet Paprika.

Gunseli Turkay.

I came across Turkish designer Gunseli Turkay in Turkish Vogue. The images above are garment from her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. I really struggled to find images of the collection that was show across the magazine pages, I managed to find one which is the image below. I love the graphic prints used in her collection, the vibrant colours and wearable cuts and styles she uses. If I come across any better photos of the collection I will do a second post, but for now this is all I could come up with.

A day in the big blue ...

The best day I've had in a long while. The water was so clear and the most beautiful shades of turquoise, blue and green.

My Birthday ...

My little sister Chloe, Me, Muzzie, Ruth and my Mum.

I wore a maxi dress I'd bought in the sales for the bargain price of £20.

I've recently started eating meat again.

We had been to Turkey two years before and this year we bumped into Muzzie a friend we had made the first time we visited, he invited my family to his restaurant for my birthday, the food was beautiful and after I was treated to a birthday cake he'd made for me. I had a really lovely night.

Aladdins Cave...

Only by chance did I come across this shop, we'd got lost and ended up down a little side street, with rows of rug and carpet shops. Out of the few shops we went into this was my absolute favourite, the walls were piled high with hand made rugs and embroidered throws, the quality of them were beautiful, I could of spent hours looking around. 

Chloes Birthday...

This year I've been to Turkey for my summer holiday. We arrived in the early hours, catching a few zzz before getting up nice and early to wish my little sister a happy birthday. In the evening we went for a meal... Chloe wore a maxi dress from H&M and I wore a cream dress from Topshop, with my Ernest Jones necklace and Links of London bracelet.
